Hugh Jackman's former producing partner John Palermo has removed his incendiary Facebook.com page after making racist remarks about Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and U.S. Tv host Julie Chen.
Palermo posted several comments on the social media site reacting to numerous pop culture news stories including Chen's admission in September (13) she had plastic surgery on her eyes early in her career after an executive told her she would achieve more success on Tv if she had the procedure.
In a post on 12 September (13), Palermo wrote, "I'm crazy about Julie Chen!!! Now that her eyes are finally open..."
And after a report suggesting West and Kardashian were moving into a Bel-Air mansion came out, he wrote, "There goes the neighborhood!!! It looks like a Poor Persian Palace, where's Kris Jenner (Kardashian's mother) when you need her?! MoneyCantBuyADumbN**gaClass (sic)."
The page has since been removed, but defiant Palermo has defended his comments.
He tells The Hollywood Reporter, "I stopped caring about what Hollywood thinks of me years ago. I've got nothing to lose, nothing to gain. I'm a bored dude, unemployed, sitting at home in the Valley. For me, some of the best ways to overcome serious issues is to laugh about them. Because then you truly understand where that ignorance is coming from."
