With all of his legal options exhausted to try to reduce the $140 million penalty awarded to Hulk Hogan over his invasion of privacy lawsuit, Gawker’s founder Nick Denton has filed for personal bankruptcy, according to multiple reports.

The British internet entrepreneur, 49, personally owes $125 million to former WWE champ Hogan after a Florida jury handed down the verdict in March this year. The other $15 million of the award is owed by Gawker Media itself.

Entertainment website Gawker, which was forced to pay out $140 million for invasion of privacy to former wrestler Hulk Hogan in March over a sex tape it published back in 2012, has failed in its attempt to decrease the amount it had to pay out because of the recent revelation that Hogan’s case was funded by a tech billionaire with an axe to grind against them.

On Tuesday (May 24th), it was revealed by Forbes that billionaire entrepreneur Peter Thiel – one of the founders of PayPal and who invested early on in Facebook – helped to fund the case brought by Hulk Hogan (real name Terry Gene Bollea). This was discovered when a person briefed on the case spoke on the condition of anonymity, and the details of the extent of Thiel’s help to Hogan is protected by a confidentiality agreement.

WWE will see the return to one of the biggest wrestling stars ever, Hulk Hogan, on Monday (Feb 24th).

The 60 year-old, real name Terry Bollea, will return to WWE's addition of Monday Night Raw for the first time in six years.

Tori Spelling has been offered a large sum in exchange for the sex tape she made with her husband Dean McDermott.

Tori Spelling could make a substantial amount if the video really exists.

Hulk Hogan has appeared in a promotional ad for his new web hosting company Hostamania. The ad many only be a minute long but it packs enough weird and "WTF?" moments as Miley's Terry Richardson-directed music video.

Short of getting naked and running his tongue over a sledgehammer, Hogan swings by to kick a guy in the face. the clip starts with a techie guy scribbling with Crayolas in a Hulk Hogan colouring book before receiving an alert for "200,000,000 HOSTING ORDERS." The guy ignores the screen and goes back to his snacks and colouring but is faced with an upside down guy in a vest who appears to the sound of bongos drums. The mysterious stranger bites a crayon in half much to our techie's disgruntlement.

Hulk Hogan doesn’t care much for subtlety. The ex-wrestler-cum-reality TV star posted pictures of his badly burnt hand after a radiator exploded while he was holding it. Some of his fans weren’t into it, though.

Terry Gene Bollea aka Hulk Hogan wrote “Just had a radiator explode on my hand, OUCH,” before writing "Double OUCH," and “Triple OUCH,” on his Twitter with subsequent photos of the burn which were, believe us, really gruesome. But Hogan’s a sensitive man, too, and said sorry if any of the pictures offended his fans. "I apologize for posting my burned hand photos,with all the feedback I now realize I really should take a moment before I make a decision. HH" he wrote. HH, as he signs off with on Twitter, was lambasted by many fans for his decision to post the pictures online, with many unawares of what they were clicking on, and many young kids seeing the rather disgusting images. Still, if you’re a fan of gruesome photos, then they’re still available for your delectation.

Having enjoyed a lucrative career in wresting during the 80s and 90s, Hogan is still only semi retired as he approaches 60-years-old. Hogan Knows Best saw him become a reality TV star. He became active on social networking site Twitter not long ago, and has amassed 600k followers since then, although he may be losing a few following THOSE pics.

Hulk Hogan burns hand and Tweets picture. Wrestling God Hulk 'the Hulkster' Hogan came away from his latest encounter, this time a radiator in his home in Tampa, Florida, battered but not beaten, following an explosion at his house cause by the faulty heating device. The accident was caused by a faulty pipe it is presumed, but we reckon Hulk just punched it.

To show off his latest victory, Hollywood Hogan took a few 'hand-selfies,'offering plenty of squeamish snaps of the burnt hand for his legions of Twitter followers. He spent the rest of the night taking photos of his hand actually, on his way to the hospital and before, after and even during his surgery to remove the burnt skin. Some people didn't like it, but others saw funny side with some of the captions, even if it did go on for a while.

The wrestler posted "Just had a radiator explode on my hand, OUCH" along with the first photo, followed shortly after by "Double Ouch" and "Triple Ouch," but decided to take a trip to the ER before sending any more pictures to his fans, Tweeting (this time without a picture) "at the ER now at Tampa General Hospital."

Howard Stern says he will get Hulk Hogan to drop the sex-tape lawsuit against his long-time friend Bubba The Love Sponge. Speaking to Mr Sponge on his SiriusXM show on Wednesday (October 17, 2012), Stern said, "I'm getting you out of this lawsuit."

Stern's sidekick Robin Quivers joked, "He also is going to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict," though Bubba seemed optimistic, saying, "That would be awesome." Former wrestler Hulk Hogan is suing his former friend after a sex-tape of himself with Bubba's ex-wife Heather Clem emerged on gossip site Gawker last week. Stern vowed, "I will get Hogan and Bubba together. I think what Bubba is saying is making a lot of sense. I think if Hogan could hear it and I can translate a little bit and calm everyone down, I think we could see through this. I think I can get Hulk Hogan to take you out of this lawsuit." Hogan's lawyer however, remained steadfast in his desire to take the case to court, telling the New York Daily News, "This is not the Bubba Show, it's litigation. Thanks to Bubba for making our case against him better.We look forward to seeing him in court. At that time it will not be a runaway rant. His time is coming."

Before Stern takes on the case himself, he wanted further details of the tape, asking Bubba "Were the tapes made at your house?" to which his pal replied, "I don't know... I would be able to tell you more if I have seen these tapes." Don't worry Bubba, let your Uncle Howard sort the whole damn thing out.

If you think Hulk Hogan used to botch a lot in the ring then you've clearly not been aware of the nightmare he's having in real life at the moment, as the one time leader of WCW's New World Order finds himself struggling to take control of even his own privacy this month. We all now know that the Hulkster was distraught to find a tape of him getting the 1-2-3 on the wife of his pal Bubba The Love Sponge (we know, we know) leaked onto the internet, more so when it turned out that the person who distributed the tape was allegedly none other than Mr Sponge himself.

Now it seems that all the milk, vitamins and praying in the world isn't going to wash the sour taste out of Hogan's mouth, brother. The veteran wrestler is reportedly suing both his now former friend and the website who posted the footage, Gawker, for a whopping $100 million. That could go a long way to keeping Hogan's current wrestling promotion Total Non-Stop Action wrestling going, which is great news if you were ever a fan of wrestling has-beens Al Snow, Chavo Guerrero Jr and Billy Ray. Just us then?

"Mr. Hogan had a reasonable expectation of his privacy, just as all Americans have a reasonable expectation of their privacy in their bedrooms," Hogan's attorney Charles Harder said, according to the Mirror. He didn't then rip his shirt off, go to each corner of room and put his hand to ear to listen for the reaction. More's the pity.

Ah, the Hulk Hogan sex tape. We're not sure what's more morally reprehensible: sleeping with your best friend's wife, or filming your best friend sleeping with your wife, stating on the film that “If we ever did want to retire, all we'd have to do is use this footage” and then leaking the footage world wide. Both are pretty bad, right? Well, the story is true and the main characters are Hulk Hogan and his best friend 'Bubba the Love Sponge'. Ah, perhaps it's his nickname that hits the top of that list of the reprehensible.

Hulk Hogan is now suing the Love Sponge and his then-wife for 'invasion of privacy'. The lawsuit, is to be filed in Florida on the grounds that “Bubba and Heather (also a defendant) conspired to roll tape during the wife's sexual encounter with the wrestler,” reports TMZ. Hogan has also warned his family that this may not be the only sex tape around.

A source that's allegedly close to the family stated: "Hulk is very concerned that a new sex tape could emerge. After the first video was leaked he warned Linda, Brooke and Nick that he could have been caught on camera in the past... The family is absolutely mortified their name has been sullied in such a tacky way. They never imagined that Hulk could drag them into such an embarrassing situation... The family is certainly bracing for the worst."

As is now well known, the woman who Hogan somewhat awkwardly engages in intercourse with in the video has been named as Heather - ex-wife of the wrestler's presumably-now-former best friend, the toe-curlingly named Bubba the Love Sponge. Oh no, brother. It turns out it was Mr Sponge who leaked the tape, with TMZ reporting that as soon as the Hulkster left the room in the sex tape itself, he popped his head round the door and told the former Mrs Sponge "If we ever did want to retire, all we'd have to do is use this footage." We always thought "Mean" Gene Okerlund was a bit of a misnomer for Hulk's amiable interviewing buddy, the name "That right bugger" Bubba certainly seems right for Love Sponge though.

Anyway, the man with the 24-inch pythons (and the, erm, now very public grass snake) is going to sue his old pal for the damage caused by the tape, which so far seems to have amounted to the horrible trauma of appearing on every major American chat show going, thus rising Hogan's ailing profile significantly - the horror! We'd like to see them duke it out in the ring personally, though we'd be wary of seeing the famous Hogan leg drop after he gave the move a whole new meaning on the tape.

It looks like the guy who made the X-Rated tape featuring Hulk Hogan available for the world to cringe at has made himself known, and it turns out he is a former employee of radio DJ and best friend of Hogan, Bubba the Love Sponge, whose ex-wife is believed to be the mystery brunette in the tape.

According to a number of online sources, the man in question is an unpaid former Sirius XM Radio staff member who used to work with Bubba. Bubba is thought to have released the tape as ‘payback’ after the DJ walked out on his role on the station to return to terrestrial radio in December 2010. As a result of Bubba’s jumping ship, the unnamed man and a number of other workers were left jobless and without pay, so he decided that it was payback time once he got hold of the tape.

Further sources have since come forward in light of the tape’s airing, not only to confirm the identity of the brunette, but also to admit that she had a long history of obsession towards the wrestling legend. Allegedly, the woman in the video, Heather Clem, only got together with Bubba so that she could get close to Hulk. Clem apparently had a long-term obsession with Hulk and had long wanted to not only get him in-between her legs, but film the conquest for her own personal pleasure, according to a report from Daily Mail.

Whilst The Hulk Hogan sex tape scandal runs wild on the internet, the former WWE wrestling star has been talking politics with The Huffington Post.

Asked whether he was in support of Republican candidate Mitt Romney, Hogan had the following to say: "That's where I'm at right now," he told ‘HuffPost Live’ host Marc Lamont Hill. "Something needs to change in this country. There's no reason why this country shouldn't be up and running and everybody healthy and happy and prosperous. We need a change. I'm just waiting for someone to take the lead and run." He said that, and then launched into one of his infamous “what you gonna’ do when Hogan runs wild on you,” “greatest of all time” marathon speeches, which detracted from the sincerity of his political stance. "I think he knows I'm on the team," Hogan said when asked if Romney knew of his support. "I showed up at an event down in Tampa [and] spoke my piece.

Fine, we’ll talk about the sex tape now that all that boring politics is out the way. The sex tape, as you probably already know, was leaked to Gawker.com, and features some rather disturbing footage of the wrestling hero engaging in some after-dark, adult activities with Heather Clem, the wife of Hogan's friend Bubba the Love Sponge. Apparently Bubba’s cool with that.

What's been a tumultuous week or so for estranged coupled Hulk Hogan and his wife Linda, the lawyer of the latter has come out with a statement that says that Linda is "embarrassed" about the recent incident that saw her arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. As has now been widely reported, the 53 year-old was arrested Thursday morning (October 4th) in Los Angeles before later being released on a $5000 bail that same morning.

The heads of a pornographic website named Sex.com have given Hulk Hogan a blank check, telling the wrestling legend to name his price, as the bidding war to distribute his sex tape hots up.

While the 12-time World Wrestling Champ has threatened legal action should the film not be removed from the Internet, however porn bosses are currently seeing if his mind can't be changed. TMZ posted a letter said to be from Sex.com's director of media Martin Ellison on to their website last night, in which Hulk is told that this ordeal does not need to be an embarrassing one for him and that the heads of the company are very much interested in meeting him in regards to the tape. The letter goes on to pay Hulk numerous compliments, telling him, "You are '"bigger" than Andre the Giant where it matters and we aren't just talking about fan base 'brother'."

Earlier last year, the wrestler, currently signed for TNA Wrestling, announced that he was facing bankruptcy after losing a huge chunk of the massive wealth he built up over his 30 year career following a series of ill advised business ventures, an expensive divorce and general squandering of his money. However, he has said that recently his monetary situation is improving somewhat, but porn bosses wont to see just how much his situation has improved and if they can make it a little easier for him in exchange for the rights on the already infamous video.

Hogan, who is seen getting up close and personal with an attractive brunette, is pretty unhappy about the whole thing. His lawyer David R. Houston tells TMZ.com, “This tape was made secretly without Hulk's knowledge or permission. We are going to do everything in our power to figure out who did it. Suddenly, Hogan’s phone rings (his ring tone is a track by his daughter Brooke) and the former WWF star briefly chats to someone before hanging up and getting down to business with Heather. Perhaps the highlight of the tape comes when Hogan leaps of the bed and announces, “F*ck I just ate. I felt like a pig”.

Meanwhile, as Hulk’s tape hit the web, his ex-wife Linda Hogan was arrested for DUI. Law enforcement sources say she was taken to a Malibu police station before being released several hours later on $5,000 bail.
