Just when we’d all just about rid ourselves of the memory of professional wrestler Hulk Hogan getting into bed with the wife of his best friend Bubba the Love Sponge and doing the Hogan no-sell on her in front of a camera, the whole issue has come back into the headlines again, with the grappler pressing on with his lawsuit against website Gawker.

Why? It was Gawker who leaked the video, initially believed to have been filmed by Bubba himself, with allegations made that he and his wife Heather were going to make a quick buck off it. Hogan filed a suit on that one as well, but settled privately with his friend, who has since pledged his support. Hogan had also dropped his suit against Gawker in federal court last month – worth $100 million – “without prejudice”. That sounds quite nice, but it’s not. It meant that Hogan had the choice to re-file should he wish to, and that’s exactly what he’s gone and done.

TMZ write that it’s believed that Hogan initially dismissed both cases so that he could get both of them together as one, so that he wouldn't have to get wrangled up in more paperwork and, thus, more attorney’s fees. With the Bubba settlement sorted, it looks like he’s got Gawker solely on his hit list, though we’re not sure if he’s going to be able to drop the leg on them.
