Hulk Hogan has settled his lawsuit with radio DJ, and his former best friend, Bubba the Love Sponge over the filming and leaking of a sex tape featuring the wrestling great. Hulk is still pursuing separate lawsuits against his sex tape co-star and Bubba’s ex-wife Heather Clem and the website Gawker.com, who uploaded the video.

According to TMZ, although the terms of the lawsuit have not been made public yet, it is believed that a public apology and admittance that Hogan had nothing to do with the filming process were also part of the terms of the lawsuit. Today, Bubba released a statement telling of his regret and reiterating that Hulk in fact had nothing to do with the video saying: “It is my belief that Hulk is not involved, and has not ever been involved, in trying to release the video, or exploit it, or otherwise gain from the video’s release in any way."

Bubba finished his statement by saying that he is now committed to helping Hulk overcome the remainder of the court battles and to finding whoever is responsible for the film’s recording and internet exposure.

Hogan is still set to pursue his $100 million lawsuit against Gawker over the tape’s leaking and will be seeking damages from Clem too, although for much less, it can be assumed.
