Azalea was happy she didn't win the Grammy for Best Rap Album
During a new interview with Los Angeles' Power 106 radio station, the Aussi rapper confessed she was relieved that Eminem beat her to win Best Rap Album at last month's 57th Annual Grammy Awards.

The 'Fancy' and 'Trouble' rapper has announced that she's taking a break from social media after paparazzi photos of her on holiday attracted a barrage of criticism about her figure.
Following a stream of negative commentary about a recent clutch of paparazzi snaps, rapper Iggy Azalea has decided to quit Twitter, declaring the online world to be “the ugliest reflection of man kind there is.”
The rapper, who had enormous success in 2014 with a series of hit singles around the world, got back from a vacation in Hawaii earlier this week where, unbeknownst to her, she was photographed wearing a bikini. A series of less than flattering comments then appeared online in the aftermath, criticising her figure.

The Aussi rapper recently claimed the majority of her haters only dislike her because of her gender.
Even though 2014 was a break out year for Iggy Azalea, she has faced a huge amount of criticism ever since bursting onto the music scene. Although it isn't shocking that the Aussi rapper has her fair share of haters, she thinks the majority only dislike her because she is a woman.
Azalea thinks she is hated because of her gender
Iggy is currently engaged in a public feud with fellow female rapper Azealia Banks about her being a white rapper, but the 'Fancy' performer recently insisted to Vanity Fair that the constant criticism she receives elsewhere is due to her gender.

Pop sensations settled down for interviews as they prepared for their Jingle Ball concert.
As usual, the Y100 Jingle Ball was a pop explosion with some of 2014's biggest chart sensations giving it their all on this year's stage in Miami, Florida. Among which we saw Ariana Grande, Pharrell and Iggy Azalea - but what did they get up to backstage?

Iggy Azalea claims not to have a sex tape, but Anonymous are saying otherwise...
It seems no-one is safe anymore as Iggy Azalea becomes the latest female celebrity to face threats regarding an alleged sex tape, after she retaliated online to comments made about her by music rival Azealia Banks.
Iggy Azalea under fire yet again
A Twitter account belonging to someone claiming to be a part of anonymous has suggested that they have a sex tape featuring Iggy Azalea in their possession and threatened to unveil images from it upon the world if she did not apologise for making comments about Azealia Banks. The feud between the two artists - which already existed before this situation took place - was made worse when Banks told Hot 97 in an interview that Azalea was essentially misappropriating black culture.
Nelly offered some sound advice to Iggy Azalea whilst being interviewed by the Australian press. Despite the attacks on Azalea from other members of the music industry, including Eminem and Azalea Banks, Nelly believes Azalea should not be discouraged as she's evidently influential enough to be discussed but that she should simply ignore their cruel comments.
Nelly has some good advice for Iggy Azalea and for pretty much anyone else who has been the focus of unpleasant insults and cruel pranks - ignore the haters but appreciate the fact you are influential enough to be discussed.

Iggy Azalea might be no lady, but she has never been a man.
So, like, Iggy Azalea and her haters are pretty much like PB&J, right? Unfortunately for Iggy Iggs, her audience is about a 50/50 split between actual fans and those who just love to rag. Fortunately for her though, she gives no s****.

The lyric was a pretty low blow, but Iggy didn't take it lying down.
It’s kind of a given in showbiz that fading celebs will do pretty much anything to inspire shock, awe and the occasional dollar flying their way. Enter Eminem and his recent string of rather violent, offensively unfunny lyrics directed at his fellow musicians of the female variety. After Lana Del Rey, Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea was the latest to come under fire, with Shady’s latest leaked track, Vegas, featuring the following disturbing lyrics (trigger warning applies): Put that shit away Iggy/ You don't wanna blow that rape whistle on me.
I know he has an album to promote, but was that really necessary?
J-Lo and Iggy might have too much booty for ABC to handle…
With American Music Awards just one day away we’re already getting pretty excited about what this year’s performers might have in store for us. But two artist who will take to the stage together on Sunday, Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Lopez, are getting a little bit more attention than most and yes it’s all because of the ‘Booty’.
J-Lo and Iggy will perform together at the AMA awards
The two singers will perform their provocative hit ‘Booty’ together on Sunday night, but it appears the idea of both J-Lo and Iggy’s impressive posteriors sharing the stage might be a little frightening for ABC executives.
Iggy Azalea has hit back at Eminem over his controversial lyrics.
Pop singer Iggy Azalea has called Eminem an "old man threatening young women for entertainment" after he asked her not to "blow that rape whistle" on his new song 'Vegas'. The singer, 24, called out Eminem on Twitter for the controversial lyrics, which feature on the rapper's upcoming compilation album Shady XV.
Iggy Azalea has responded angrily to Eminem's rape lyrics
"If I let you run alongside the Humvee. Unless you're Nicki [Minaj], grab you by the wrist, let's ski," Eminem raps.

Jim Carrey's first guest host spot on 'SNL' since 2011 was a real winner.
Jim Carrey's third appearance on 'Saturday Night Live' at the weekend (October 25th 2014) proved to be another eye-wateringly hilarious episode - though we know we'll be stuck with an image of the actor in a nude unitard and blonde wig forever more.
Jim Carrey does 'Chandelier' rather well
Yes, Saturday's 'SNL' highlight was the Halloween themed office party sketch, which saw the 'Dumb and Dumber' star re-enact the video for Sia's Platinum hit 'Chandelier', alongside identically dressed cast member Kate Mckinnon as they attempted to battle it out for the right to wear the costume. The pair performed the energetic dance routine of 'Dance Moms' star Maddie Ziegler who starred in the video, and while it has to be said that it really is a remarkable rendition, Jim Carrey's customary absurd facial expressions made it a truly unmissable show - that and musical guest Iggy Azalea's unexpected cameo.

Iggy Azalea has issued a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend.
It's not been a great week for rapper Iggy Azalea, who has made the headlines after Steve Hirsch, the classy guy who leaked Kim Kardashian's sex tape in 2007 has claimed to have access to similar footage featuring Azalea and an ex-boyfriend. Iggy has fiercely denied the claims, but is now suing that ex, Maurice Williams aka Heft Wine, for seperate reasons.

This news comes after Williams announced that he will release an EP by Azalea, entitled Inizio, on September 30th. The Australian rapper's legal team are threatening to sue Vivid Entertainment if they decide to use Iggy's name anywhere in the tape.
Since news broke that Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch has seen footage of an alleged sex tape involving Iggy Azalea and an ex-boyfriend, the rapper's representatives have adamantly denied she ever made an X-rated film, and they are now threatening the porn company with legal action.
Azalea completely denies a sex tape exists
They are apparently well within their rights to as well, according to TMZ, if Vivid decide to release the tape and use her stage name I-G-G-Y, they will be sued because this is trademarked and can only be used by her.
Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch, who claims to have allegedly seen an x-rated tape of the Australian rapper with an ex-boyfriend, is offering a multi-million dollar deal for the rights to the footage.
Iggy Azalea is the latest celebrity to be accused of making a sex tape after Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch, who was responsible for releasing Kim Kardashian's infamous X-rated tape, claims he has acquired footage of the Australian rapper performing sexual acts with an ex-boyfriend.
Azalea denies ever making a sex tape
"I believe there would be a huge demand for her sex tape," Hirsch said in a press release. "Iggy has proved that she's an amazing talent...We are conducting our due diligence and if we are satisfied with our review, we will definitely try to make a deal to distribute the tape."
Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora come together in the new single 'Black Widow', to bring us a song about a failed relationship that causes the titular black widow personality to come out and avenge said relationship. But is this pairing a match made in heaven, or will it go on to stain these artists' careers?
Australian rapper Iggy Azalea and British singer Rita Ora both adopt different accents (and vocal pitch, in Azalea's case) in their career, so it makes sense that these two 'acts' are combining for what amounts to little more than an imitation performance of soulless hip-hop and pop music. Incidentally, the accompanying music video is an upsettingly awkward rip-off of 'Kill Bill', even down to Michael Madson's unfortunate inclusion.
The hook is sung by Rita Ora and, thankfully, plays out as the most bearable part of the whole track. Her voice introduces real heart into the otherwise desolate wasteland of this single - supposedly where creativity went to die. However, despite her voice, the hook is totally forgettable. Written by Stargate (Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen), Benjamin Levin, Katy Perry, Sarah Hudson and Azalea, the lyrics are repetitious and the beat sounds bleak and empty.

Iggy Azalea is the latest artist to suffer a mishap at a VMA-related performance
While the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) are clearly prestigious and a desirable addition to any artists’ award collection, it would seem that they are also more than a little hazardous - as Australian rapper Iggy Azalea found out on Friday (22 August) night. The Fancy hit-maker was performing a pre-MTV VMAs concert with Charlie XCX at the Avalon Theatre in Hollywood when she backed right off stage.

Ariana and Iggy are the first to reach the record, since Adele in 2012.
Everything is coming up Ariana Grande these days, including a record that hasn’t been topped since 2012. Ariana currently has three songs in the Billboard Top 10 - Break Free at No.4, Problem at No.7 and Jessie J and Nicki Minaj collaboration Bang Bang at No.10 (Ariana is credited as a lead artist on that, so it still counts).
Is Ariana Grande on the fast track to lasting success?
The previous record holder was Adele, with three of her songs in the Top Ten of the Billboard Hot 100 back in 2012. The songs in question were Set Fire To The Rain at No. 2, Rolling In The Deep, which landed at No. 5 and Someone Like You at No. 7 – the trifecta of songs, which make up every great breakup playlist.
