Leeds must be a grim place to reside at the best of times if the latest release - or any, for that matter - from iLiKETRAiNS is anything to go by.

Despite the band's eagerness to shed their tag as post-rock murder balladeers, 'The Deception' is pretty much everything we've come to expect from the quintet, whether it be the slow-burning build up to Dave Martin's evocative, eerie vocals.

What this really means, of course, is that it's business as usual and while ever they're safe in the knowledge that what they are doing is pretty much their own, untouched (as yet) niche, why change when that would merely be just for the sake it?
