Rapper Ja Rule has denied allegations he has left his wife for a man he met during his recent stint in prison.

The Murder Inc. star's personal life hit headlines after a false report began circulating on the Internet, suggesting the rapper's wife Aisha Atkins had accused her husband of 12 years of cheating during an appearance on an MTV show.

The series, Married Life After Prison, reportedly doesn't exist and Ja Rule, who was released from a New York prison earlier this year (13), has now taken to Twitter.com to dispel the rumours.

He writes, "Ok I guess I have to address the idiots these rumours are false lies made up by some non mf factor (not special) website clowns Lmao (laughing my a** off)..."

The hip-hop star served nearly two years behind bars for attempted illegal gun possession and tax evasion.
