Rapper Ja Rule Is Developing A Tv Show About The Beginnings Of His Label Murder Inc Records.
The hip hop star is teaming up with label founder Irv Gotti to recount the story of the company which housed artists including Ashanti and singer Lloyd.
"It's a great project," the rapper tells Vibe.com. "It's going to be a drama series, and we got Paramount (studio) as a partner. It's gotta be raw and uncut."
Ja Rule left the label, which also went by the name The Inc., in 2009, but returned in 2013 with new songs Fresh Out Da Pen and Everything.
The rapper can currently be seen on the small screen in reality show Follow the Rules. It is unclear if he will appear in the planned scripted show.
