The hip hop star is teaming up with label founder Irv Gotti to recount the story of the company which housed artists including Ashanti and singer Lloyd.

"It's a great project," the rapper tells "It's going to be a drama series, and we got Paramount (studio) as a partner. It's gotta be raw and uncut."

The rapper can currently be seen on the small screen in reality show Follow the Rules. It is unclear if he will appear in the planned scripted show.
