This time he has a whole panda brood behind him.
Po is set to return with an all new gang of martial art anthropomorphic animals in 'Kung Fu Panda 3', but this time he's reunited with his own kind - or so it may seem. Jack Black reprises the titular role and Alessandro Carloni joins previous director Jennifer Yuh Nelson at the helm.
Po finally meets his father in 'Kung Fu Panda 3'
After successfully defeating two nemeses with his unorthodox kung fu style in the previous two films, Po faces his biggest challenge yet with 'Kung Fu Panda 3'; he has to teach a whole clan of useless pandas the art of kung fu - something that he himself had trouble enough grasping to begin with. On the other hand, he's finally reunited with his biological father, who sensed his survival at the end of 'Kung Fu Panda 2', even though Po has finally found peace in Mr. Ping the goose being his true father.

This time, he struggles - ironically - to find a place among his new friends and family, but he has to learn to embrace them as another evil force is on the way. The ancient spirit of Kai wants to overtake China, with the might of the abilities of former kung fu masters behind him.
Po has a new enemy in the form of the evil Kai
We see the return of the main cast from the first two films; the Furious Five (Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu and David Cross), and Dustin Hoffman's Master Shifu, while Kate Hudson joins the team as Mei Mei the overly keen forced fiancee of Po, Bryan Cranston takes on the role of Po's father Li Shan and J. K. Simmons is the nefarious Kai.
Will Po find solace among his panda peers?
Story artist Alessandro Carloni is promoted to co-director with the Oscar nominated Jennifer Yuh of 'Kung Fu Panda 2', and Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger continue their role as screenwriters. 'Kung Fu Panda 3' is set to be released in the UK in March 2016.
