Jack White, Pharrell Williams and Calvin Harris are among the superstar musicians who have been recruited to headline the upcoming Lollapalooza festivals in South America.

White and Harris will be joined by the likes of Kings of Leon, Skrillex, Robert Plant, the Smashing Pumpkins, Kasabian and Bastille, as well as Chilean artists such as Congreso, Jorge Gonzalez and Fernando Milagros for Lollapalooza Chile, which will take place on 14-15 March (15) at O'Higgins Park in Santiago.

The second edition of Lollapalooza Argentina will be held in Buenos Aires on 21-22 March (15), with Williams joining the line-up featured in Chile, along with popular Argentinian musicians Pedro Aznar, Zero Kill and Maxi Trusso.

Their festival circuit in South America will end in Sao Paulo, Brazil on 28-29 March (15) at Autodromo de Interlagos, with added acts including Marina and the Diamonds and Brazilian artists Pitty and Banda do Mar also taking the stage.

Lollapalooza's traditional Chicago, Illinois festival will take place on 31 July (15) to 2 August (15), and the show will expand to Berlin, Germany in September (15).
