Jack White has released the first track from his upcoming second solo album, Lazaretto, which will be released this June. The instrumental new song, titled 'High Ball Stepper,' is undeniably Jack White in its screeching guitar riff and rock groove and forecasts more exciting sounds for the record's summer release.

White hasn't specified whether Lazaretto will be purely an instrumental album. Instead, he told Rolling Stone last year that "[The new album's] not one sound, it's definitely several. I don't pick my style and then write a song. I just write whatever comes out of me."
The former White Stripes guitarist's 2014 release will follow 2012's critically acclaimed Blunderbuss, which spent 14 weeks in the UK charts after debuting at number one. Unlike Lazaretto's predecessor, which was issued as several special packages by White's Third Man Records, the new album will get only one limited-edition treatment.

This year the 38 year-old performer will also be continuing the revival of his rock supergroup, The Dead Weather, who have plans for a new album in early 2015, and White will reportedly appear on Neil Young's upcoming covers album, A Letter Home.
