The bestselling British author passed away on Saturday (19Sep15), aged 77, after a secret six-year battle with breast cancer.

The Hollywood Wives writer was best known for her romance books which detailed sordid fictional relationships and lusty sexual encounters, and, in her last interview with People magazine, the author, who sold more than 500 million copies of her books worldwide, hoped her popular work would be remembered forever at her burial site.

She said, "I want on my gravestone, 'She gave a great deal of people a great deal of pleasure'."
