Fact: Katy Perry will make her debut at Britain's Glastonbury Festival in June (17). More than 80 other acts were announced on Thursday (30Mar17), including Lorde, Solange Knowles, The jacksons and Barry Gibb, who will perform in the Legends slot. Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters and Radiohead will headline the event, which runs from 21 to 25 June (17).

Fact: The jacksons are to continue celebrating their 50th anniversary celebrations with a special show at England's Blenheim Palace on 18 June (17). The band, comprising Jermaine, Tito, Jackie and Marlon Jackson, will take to the stage in the stately home's Great Court to perform some of their biggest hits as part of the palace's Nocturne series. Kool & The Gang will also be performing on the night, as a special guest.

Fact: THE jacksons will make a rare TV appearance when the brotherly supergroup performs during the AMERICAN IDOL finale next week (13May15). Prince Royce, Nile Rodgers, Echosmith, Chris Brown and Janelle Monae will also be part of the TV special, alongside Ricky Martin, Fall Out Boy, New Kids on the Block, Pitbull, Jamie Foxx and former Idol judge Steven Tyler. The two-part grand finale will air live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday and Wednesday (12-13May15).

Fact: The organisers of the Iowa State Fair will pay tribute to late music icon Michael Jackson by displaying a sculpture of the superstar made entirely of butter. Jackson gave two performance at the annual event with the Jackson 5 in 1971. The fair will take place from 13-23 August in Des Moines, Iowa.
