Jackson Browne and Alice Cooper are teaming up to help raise cash for the families of Tucson, Arizona shooting tragedy in January (11) and promote civility in the state.
The two rock veterans have put together an all-star line-up of musicians, including Sam Moore, Nils Lofgren and David Crosby for a benefit show at the Tucson Convention Center in March (11).
All proceeds will benefit the charity Community Foundation for Southern Arizona and the Fund for Civility, Respect, and Understanding.
The money will help those caught up is the horror of Jared Lee Loughner's alleged attempted assassination of U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords on 8 January (11).
Giffords was shot in the head outside a grocery store just outside Tucson during her first Congress on Your Corner of 2011. Six of the 20 people shot died. Giffords survived the attempt on her life.
