Actress Jada Pinkett Smith Has Addressed Fresh Reports Her Marriage To Will Smith Is In Trouble, Insisting This Is Just The Latest Media Attack On One Of Hollywood's Most Solid Relationships.
The Matrix Reloaded star has opened up about the latest round of break-up rumours in the new issue of American Way magazine, insisting there's no truth to them.
She says, "Every year there's a new one and I'm like, 'Here we go. Get ready. Are ya holdin' on tight?'"
And her husband took to Facebook on Monday (03Aug15) to further dismiss the latest rumours, stating, "Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness (Because it's contagious)... But, so many people have extended me their 'deepest condolences' that I figured - 'What the hell... I can be foolish, too!'
"So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are... NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
He concluded his post by adding, "I promise you all - if I ever decide to divorce my Queen - I SWEAR I'll tell you myself!"
Clearly impressed by her husband's stance, Jada took to Twitter moments later and added: "My king has spoken."
The actress, who has been married to the Men In Black star for 17 years, recently told American Airlines' inflight magazine, "Marriages go through shifts and relationships go through shifts because, in life, things shift. So people are automatically like, 'What's going on? They must be getting a divorce'. Well, no. But when people feel those shifts and there's a mystery, they have to fill it with something."
