British R+B newcomer Jamelia has confirmed pop superstar Usher is lusting after her but warns him to avoid making any advances - because she would hate to date someone who cheats on their girlfriends.

The THANK YOU beauty is sick of responding to questions about Usher's widely-reported interest in her and has attempted to silence the speculation by ruling out the prospect of becoming romantically involved with him - citing his admitted infidelity and the major difference in their careers as her main reasons.

She says, "Right now my least favourite question is, 'Are you dating Usher?' I get asked it every 30 seconds and it really irritates me. We met at a shoot a couple of months ago and we exchanged phone numbers and somehow it got out.

"I'm not going to deny that (he fancies me). I'm not going to lie. I think he does. But at the same time, there's no chance of a relationship between me and him. He's selling millions and millions of records and I'm selling...a couple of thousand.

"And the fact he confessed that he cheated on his last girlfriend, you know! I've been single for three years now and I'm not about to throw it all away on him."
