James Corden has been talking about his latest film, Into the Woods

"What is amazing in the film is that two thirds of the way through all of the characters have got exactly what they wanted at the start of the film yet they’re still not happy."

Corden was also keen to praise the film’s director, Rob Marshall, for having the guts to bring an infamous musical such as this to the big screen.

He said: "Rob has such an understanding of musicals and a vision for film and so it took someone like him to pick it up by the scruff of its neck and say: ‘This is how we’re going to tell this story’."

Into the Woods will hit cinemas on 25 December but, for a sneak preview, watch the trailer here.
