Jeremy Clarkson has claimed he was barred from boarding a flight in Stuttgart, Germany by an angry airport worker.

Speaking to The Sun, ‘The Grand Tour’ host claimed an Argentinian airport employee shouted at him “I’m from Argentina so f*** you!”, as he prevented him and co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May from boarding.

However a spokesman for Stuttgart Airport disputed Clarkson’s version of events and said the host had missed several calls for his flight and that the employee in question is Spanish, not Argentinian.

There’s just over a month to go until Jeremy Clarkson’s long-awaited ‘The Grand Tour’ finally makes its debut, and the public has now gotten its first proper taste of the new motoring series with a brand new trailer.

Opening in a drizzly car park at a British racetrack, the 94-second clip features a broken arm, tanks blowing up vans and Clarkson trying to lead a camel up a ramp.

As the former presenters of ‘Top Gear’ they were probably one of Britain’s most famous entertainment exports, but now Jeremy Clarkson and his colleagues Richard Hammond and James May have appeared on James Corden’s ‘Late Late Show’ in the US ahead of their new series ‘The Grand Tour’.

The trio are launching their massively anticipated new motoring series ‘The Grand Tour’ on Amazon Prime in just over a month’s time.

Ahead of the grand unveiling, they appeared in a ‘Carpool Karaoke’-style segment on the late night chat show where they raced cars around a desert track, and answered questions from their fellow Brit James Corden.

The much-anticipated new motoring show from Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May finally has a release date. The first episode of ‘The Grand Tour’ will be made available on Amazon Prime from November 18th.

The new show’s maiden episode will be 70 minutes in length, and will partly be filmed in California next month, with one section of the episode already shot in Johannesburg in South Africa.

New episodes of ‘The Grand Tour’ will then be released every Friday for 12 weeks. Revealing the launch date, Amazon has uploaded a 30-second teaser trailer to YouTube.

After many months of agonising, the new Amazon Prime motoring show fronted by former ‘Top Gear’ presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May finally has a name – ‘The Grand Tour’.

On Wednesday afternoon (May 11th), Clarkson wrote on Twitter: “Start the smoke. We have a name”. The title was then revealed, apparently a reference to their intention to host each episode in a different city across the world and the copious number of filming locations already used - including northern Africa, Barbados, Portugal and London.

“So, the Grand Tour (GT for short) will come from a tent, which we will put up in a different location every week. Your town?” another tweet read soon afterwards.

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed he's spent thousands of pounds consulting lawyers while trying to come up with a name for his new Amazon Prime series and he’s still no closer to finding a title. Writing in his column for the Sunday Times, Clarkson said most of his suggestions have been ruled out by legal advisors who say they have already been trademarked.

Jeremy Clarkson has reportedly agreed to keep quiet over his recent sacking by the BBC so that the planned ‘Top Gear Live Shows’ can go ahead. Clarkson was axed as host of the long running motoring series last month after a ‘fracas’ involving one of the show’s producers.

'Top Gear' fans will be able to see Clarkson, Hammond and May reunited at the upcoming live shows.

Clarkson is said to have reached an agreement with the BBC so the now renamed live show can go ahead as planned in May. The series of live shows, which are co-owned by BBC Worldwide will start in Belfast on 22 May and not feature any ‘Top Gear’ branding or The Stig.

The threat is said to have been reported on Wednesday, with police adding that it was made by email. ”The content of the message suggests (it was sent) from outside the UK,” the Met. statement continued.

James May and Richard Hammond are said to be refusing to film another episode of ‘Top Gear’ without their currently suspended co-host Jeremy Clarkson. Clarkson has been suspended by the BBC since March 10th and the presenter’s fate is currently being decided pending the result of an internal investigation.

Gary Barlow and Chris Evans make an unlikely driving team as they travel up and down the country in a pink Rolls Royce in a bid to raise £1 million for Breast Cancer Care. They are joined by James May, the Top Gear presenter and Brian Cox, the TV science bod. The four celebrities are driving from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise £1 million for Breast Cancer Care.

The FAB1 Million Challenge kicked off this morning, with the celebs heading off in the Rolls Royce, after Chris Evans finished his TV show. They’re expecting to finish in Scotland at about 4am on Friday morning (April 19, 2013) according to the Metro and they’ll be stopping off in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Glasgow. The Take That singer, Gary Barlow, said: “If we can raise £1million it will be amazing. The car is incredible. I can’t wait to drive it, I’ve been designated as the tour chef and I’m going to dig my camping stove out, give it a dust-off and bring some food with me. I’m hoping along the way we get lots of support from the country.”

The fundraising idea was thought up by Chris Evans, who explained that they plan to use the car after the trip to continue raising money for the charity, by making it available to hire. “FAB1 Million aims to raise a million pounds for breast cancer, it’s as simple as that,” explained the radio DJ. “You can hire the most famous Rolls Royce in the world as the icing on the cake to whatever special event you are attending, knowing that you are donating to a very worthy cause in the process. It’s a win-win situation.”

Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond have signed a new deal, ensuring Top Gear’s future for the next three years. The deal is likely to involve a huge windfall for Clarkson in particular, with BBC Worldwide now taking full control of his lucrative company ‘Bedder 6’

Clarkson has become the highest paid BBC star, earning over £3 million in the year to March 2012 – reports The Guardian – and his company Bedder 6 made £15.2 million in pre-tax profits in the year to March 2011. The firm generated income from Top Gear live shows, DVDs and international promotion of the brand. The business is worth anywhere between £50 million and £100 million, though the details of the BBC’s takeover are unknown. Under the new Top Gear deal, May and Hammond will get a share of the show’s commercial revenue in return for promoting the show around the world – essentially, making them even richer. In July of this year, it emerged that Clarkson’s income from Top Gear rose from £900,000 to nearly £3 million in the year.

Of the new deal, a BBC Worldwide spokesman said, “BBC Worldwide has agreed new commercial deals with Jeremy, James, Richard and Andy to secure Top Gear's international future for another three years.”
