Janet Jackson's ex-husband James Debarge has credited his former brother-in-law Michael Jackson with saving him from suicide.
The DeBarge singer reveals he once considered jumping to his death from the roof of the King of Pop's home - but calm Jackson talked him down.
Appearing on U.S. TV show Dr. Drew's Lifechangers, the R&B star recalls, "I was going to jump and everyone was losing it... He was the only one not freaking out!
"He seemed to be familiar with my pain... He knew I needed someone to talk to, so he was that ear. We just talked all night and I forgot that I was even on the roof and that I was going to jump."
