The Rhythm Nation icon recently announced plans for Unbreakable, her first album in seven years, and an accompanying comeback tour, and now bosses at U.S. network BET are allegedly planning to honour her legacy with a dance-heavy segment at its annual awards ceremony on Sunday (28Jun15) - and Ciara will be among the artists taking part.

A source tells the New York Post, "Janet's known for her dancing, so expect a lot of dancing."

If Jackson attends the Los Angeles show as rumoured, it will mark her first major TV appearance in three years. She last attended the BET Awards in 2009 to salute her late brother, Michael Jackson, just three days after his untimely death.
