Actor Jared Leto piled on so much weight to play John Lennon's killer Mark David Chapman in a new film doctors were seriously worried about his cholesterol. The Panic Room star guzzled two pints of microwaved Häagen-Dazs ice-cream daily to play the chubby assassin in CHAPTER 27, and gained a speedy 65 pounds (29.5 kilograms) in the process. As a result, Leto suffered from gout and his cholesterol levels shot up. He says, "My cholesterol was so high they (doctors) wanted to put me on Lipitor (prescription cholesterol medication).
