We Should Know For Sure By The End Of The Week.

Of course, Terminator just wouldn't be Terminator without Arnold Schwarzenegger and indeed Arnie is expected to make a return as the notorious cyborg assassin. There are no concrete plot details for the movie just yet other than this is the first film in a standalone trilogy after Annapurna Pictures purchased the rights for over $20 million. However, it is rumoured that the new movie will feature time travel to the future.

We should know by the end of this week whether Clarke has officially landed the role, according to Variety, and after that speculation will turn to who has been cast as Kyle Reese, Connor's father. Tron actor Garret Hedlund and A Single Man's Nicholas Hoult are said to be the frontrunners for the role and will test for the part next week.
