Roseanne Cash, Robert Ellis and Jason Isbell look set to triumph at the upcoming 2014 Americana Honors & Awards after scoring a trio of nominations apiece on Monday (12May14).

The three stars, who are all up for the Artist of the Year prize, lead the pack of nominees.

Country veteran Rodney Crowell, who was married to Roseanne Cash from 1979 to 1992, will also battle it out for the Artist of the Year trophy, while Sarah Jarosz's Build Me Up From Bones will compete for Album of the Year alongside releases from Ellis, Cash and Isbell, and Patty Griffin's Ohio will join Isbell's Cover Me Up, Cash's A Feather's Not A Bird and Ellis' Only Lies in the Song of the Year category.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee on 17 September (14).
