The nice guy pro wrestler-turned actor blasted the unprofessionalism he had experienced from some unnamed male stars on the film’s set, warning that he has ‘zero tolerance for candy asses.’

In just one of many, many things to happen at the 2016 Golden Globes, actress and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has confirmed that she’s engaged to wed Jason Statham, her boyfriend of five years.

The showbiz couple arrived at the prestigious red carpet event in Beverly Hills on Sunday night (January 10th), with 28 year old Rosie showing off an eye-catching diamond ring as she and her 48 year old fiancé posed for photographs outside the Hilton. A spokesperson for the pair later officially confirmed the engagement to E! News the following day.

Sylvester Stallone and his franchise for ageing action stars is back! Yes, the gang has nearly doubled for the latest Expendables adventure, stirring in big-named oldies along with fresh blood. The plot may not make any sense, and this one's been chopped down to a PG-13, but with a cast this beefy, you don't want to miss it.

Stallone returns as star and cowriter, along with previous cohorts Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Randy Couture and Terry Crews. The notable no-show this time is Bruce Willis, who is rumoured to have asked for $1 million per day to return, apparently prompting Stallone to tweet, "Greedy and lazy ...... a sure formula for career failure."

The sun beamed down on a range of A-Z-list celebs last night (August 4) as The Expendables 3 enjoyed its world premiere in London.

As well as the film’s stars, like Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas and Kellan Lutz, a bunch of celebs trampled the red carpet ahead of the film's world premiere including Jonathan Ross, who made some seriously questionable fashion choices. 

The all-out action film, currently enjoying a third outing, sees many of Hollywood’s favorite stars combine. At 68, you would think Stallone is coming to end of his stunt career. He, on the other hand, has different ideas.

Tanks at Cannes – if anyone could pull it off, it had to be Sly Stallone and company. Stallone and Expendables 3 costars made their arrival, riding along the Croisette in the French city in two massive Soviet tanks. Sure, it didn’t do anything to help the already terrible traffic in Cannes around festival time, but it did contribute to the film’s eye-popping promotional bill of $2 million, spent over the course of the festival.

Besides the tank stunt, admittedly one of the better ideas to come out of a Hollywood promo team, the $2 million budget also included a promo of clips from the movie and a star-studded press conference at the Carlton hotel. The press conference featured almost all the stars of the film (and the tank stunt) including returning heroes Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dolph Lundgren, as well as new recruits Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson and Kelsey Grammar. Nu Image and Millenium Films must be working on a very liberal budget this time around.

Jason Statham has called on the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to finally recognise the work that Hollywood's stunt actors at the Oscars ceremony. The Brit actor, who does most of his own stunts, told Vanity Fair this week that the work of stuntmen and women needs to be recognised, as they so regularly put their lives on the line for the sake of movies.

"All of the stunt men — these are the unsung heroes,” Statham said in his interview with Vanity Fair. “Nobody is giving them any credibility. They’re risking their necks. And then you’ve got poncy actors pretending like they’re doing [the stunts].”

Statham can hardly be cast into this group of "poncy" actors, as he regularly carries out his own stunts in his films. The Homefront actor also began his career as a martial artist and diver, before landing his big film break in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and has a good idea of what goes into making a great stunt work. He went on to say that stunt actors are "incredibly talented" and, having worked alongside so many in his time, insisted that their profession is long overdue some recognition.

Urgh. We loved Layer Cake. Everyone loved Layer Cake. It was really, really, good and better than Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. Now, its memory is in danger of being tarnished by news that Jason Statham and his manager and partner Steve Chasman have acquired the rights to J.J Connolly's novel Viva La Madness - the follow-up to Layer Cake.

According to Deadline.com, Statham will play the Connolly's chief protagonist - who famously remains nameless and was last seen trying to survive a gunshot wound in the thrilling concluding moments of Matthew Vaughn's 2004 movie.

It took Connolly over a decade to continue the tale, with his protagonist winding up on beach looking for an early retirement. Unable to pull himself away from a life of crime, he gets involved with trans-Atlantic drug deals, money laundering and Venezuelan drug cartels.

Two big British films hit UK cinemas this week. After storming the Scottish box office last weekend and garnering rave reviews across the board, Filth arrives in the rest of the country this week. Based on the novel by Irvine Welsh (Trainspotting), the Edinburgh black comedy stars  in a career-redefining role as a deeply nasty cop. Read our 'Filth' review here.

Meanwhile, Saoirse Ronan stars in the introspective thriller How I Live Now, set in a present-day Britain that's engulfed in war. Opening in the UK this weekend and in America next month, the film is directed by Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland), and the cast includes rising stars George MacKay (Hunky Dory) and Tom Holland (The Impossible). Homefront is a tense action thriller that wants to poke holes in the typical story of a rural town's collective hostility towards a new family. Based on the Chuck Logan novel of the same name, the film will introduce Logan's much-used character Phil Broker (Jason Statham) to the big screen for the first time and judging by the trailer alone, we should be in for a wild ride when the film is released later this year.

Things start off blissfully for Broker and his daughter

Broker is an ex-DEA agent (not a former Minnesota cop, as he is in the book) who moves out to a rural town in the south of the United States to begin a new life with his daughter, Maddie (Izabela Vidovic), following the death of his wife. At first, things seem to be as idyllic as Broker would have hoped, with horses to ride, lakes to swim in and a large house to call their own, however things soon take a turn for the worse when Broker's daughter fights back against the school bully.

Sylvester Stallone has made his feelings towards Bruce Willis crystal clear after tweeting about Expendables 3. The Rocky actor confirmed that Harrison Ford would be joining the Expendables cast, replacing Willis.

Stallone described Bruce Willis as "greedy and "lazy" on Twitter shortly after confirming Harrison Ford will be replacing Willis in Expendables 3. In his first Tweet, Stallone claimed he'd "been waiting for years" for the news that "Willis out" and "Harrison in".

After being rumoured to be joining the Expendables 3 cast, Knowing actor Nicolas Cage has shot down such murmurings in an interview with Den of Geek putting it plainly that he'd had no involvement so far: "I have not had any formal discussions about that movie," he said referring to Expendables. "I'm not in Kick-Ass 2 and I don't think I'm in Expendables 3. And I like those guys, but I would say it would be highly unlikely that I'd be in that movie," he added, destroying another fervent internet rumour while he was at it.

Nicolas Cage: Probably Not In Expendables 3.

Dwayne Johnson and Vinnie Jones are two fellow actors who've also been rumoured to be starring in the mega-action blockbuster, set for release in August 2014. Cage's denial follows Sylvester Stallone's claim that he had "no knowledge" of a potential Cage addition back in November 2012.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is skinny. Angelina Jolie is skinny. Megan Fox is skinny. But Polish actress Agata Buzek is SKINNY. Wielding a cigarette, the Polish actress turned up at the London premiere of her new movie Hummingbird on Monday night (June 17, 2013) looking incredibly slender - especially when posing next to muscly co-star Jason Statham.

The blonde star wore her hair tied in a ponytail with a patterned sleeveless top and cropped trousers. She teamed the outfit with a black belt tied around her waist, cream coat and black flat shoes. Agata formerly worked as a high fashion model in Paris and is known for her skinny frame, though her recent weight loss was noticeable at the world premiere of Hummingbird, reports the Daily Mail.

Buzek is now thought to be slimmer than a US size 0 (a UK size 4), though she appears perfectly happy and was in good spirits in central London on Monday. She plays nun Christina in the new action movie - also named Redemption - about a homeless and on the run ex-special forces soldier navigating London's criminal underworld. He seizes an opportunity to assume another man's identity - transforming into an avenging angel in the process.

It's shaping up to be a pretty hectic 18 months or so for Sylvester Stallone, who will star in two big-budget movies for Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment, Escape Plan and The Expendables 3. The former stars Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger as prison cellmates who work together to escape. The Great Escape, essentially.

The movie, directed by Swedish filmmaker Mikael Hafstrom, is written by Miles Chapman and Jason Keller, according to the Hollywood Reporter. It will go up against Joseph Gordon-Lecitt's directorial debut Don Jon and fantasy movie Seventh Son on October 18, 2013. The Expendables action adventure franchise continues on August 15, 2014 with the third movie, once again starring Stallone as Barney Ross, who leads his group of mercenaries into another seemingly impossible mission. Martial arts legend Jackie Chan and Oscar winner Nicolas Cage are set to be appear in the movie, which will undoubtedly continue to the huge success of the franchise. As yet, the other major studios have not announced any movies for release on the same date.

The Expendables 2, starring Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris and Terry Crews, opened on August 16, 2012 to takings of $28.6 million. The movie has since earned $300 million worldwide.

We all know that Jason Statham’s a bit of a bruiser with the same amount of dexterity in his acting as a mature oak has in its wood. But Hummingbird is an attempt to move Statham away from the straight up beat-em-up films he’s become sadly all too known for – albeit by giving him a few scraps early in the trailer to show us just exactly what it is he’s trying to move away from.

Statham plays Joey Jones, an unimaginatively titled (sorry to anyone out there actually called Joey Jones) who takes a pretty bad beating on the streets he’s living on one night and decides enough’s enough and he need to get his life on track again. The reason it’s track, of course, is because he’s an ex-special forces whose luck’s gone sour. After getting a job as a chef in London, it looks like this film’s starting to turn towards a bit of a grittier Under Siege, though unfortunately with no Gary Busey dressed up as a woman – which would’ve improved this trailer by a good 100%. Though working as a chef, Jones also gets a job as a security guard – he’s not forgotten those special forces combat skills after all – and unsurprisingly, the trailer takes a swift change in direction towards his physical attributes and general punching people out (including, in one disturbing clip, a woman) rather than his culinary abilities. Which is a shame, Masterchef: The Movie has been long overdue.

Jennifer Lopez has been in the news a lot recently, following her divorce from Marc Anthony and of course, her new film, Parker.

The thing that everyone seemed most impressed with, however, weren’t J Lo’s acting credentials, or even her personal life, but her wardrobe choices – like most times actually, because lets face it, there haven’t been any Oscar nods for Lopez as far as we can remember. On top of that, Parker hasn’t really created a media storm at all and, apart from Jason Statham and Lopez herself, there haven’t been any notable names attached to the project.

However, her style is definitely unique and Jennifer definitely flaunted it during her appearance on the Katie show this week. The singer donned a leather jumpsuit and capped off the outfit with some bang-on-trend spiky heels. We’re not sure how we feel about this combo, to be honest, but J Lo’s affinity for The Jumpsuit has become infamous over the years. To be fair, if the lady can pull it off, who’s to stop her from adding a little edge to her appearance, especially in light of her newly recovered single lady status? And if that edge comes in the form of shiny jumpsuits, well… ok, it looks a bit odd, but if there’s one person who can pull it off, it’s Jennifer Lopez.

Jennifer Lopez Was The Star Attraction At The 'Parker Premiere' In Las Vegas

Jennifer Lopez appeared to "go commando" at the Las Vegas premiere of her new drama-thriller 'Parker' on Thursday evening (January 24, 2013). Let us explain: the 43-year-old actress wore a figure-hugging white gown, which looked fairly innocuous at first glance, though the sheer side panels gave the game away - Lopez was indeed wearing no underwear. Still, the R&B star and former American Idol judge looked pretty elegant, accentuating her signature curves while beaming for the cameras.

The movie stars Jason Statham as a thief with a unique code of professional ethics who is double-crossed by his crew and left for dead. Assuming his new disguise and forming an unlikely alliance with a woman on the inside (Lopez), the professional criminal looks to hijack his former crew's latest heist.
