The fourth instalment of the 'Insidious' has already hit theatres and is turning out to be a major spookfest. 'The Last Key' takes parapsychologist Elise Rainier back to her own childhood where she discovers just how her connection to the spirit world began.
Elise Rainier is faced with the her most terrifying haunting yet as she returns to her childhood home in New Mexico; a place plagued by the most deadly and hidious of all spectral creatures. This time there is a new occupant, and while the last thing she wants to do is re-visit the horrors of her past, she has sworn to protect the innocent living from the parasitic realms beyond.
So she ventures forth, with a new determination to end the curse that she has felt since she was a small child. But in order to do so, she most go deeper into the Further than she has ever gone before. With demons at every turn, if she doesn't do this right, there's no way back.

During a deadly military operation in Egypt, an explosion uncovers an overwhelming secret buried in the sand. Army officer Nick Morton teams up with an archaeologist named Jenny Halsey to investigate the new find, but what looks like an ancient tomb is found very quickly by Halsey to be a prison, which tells of the fate of Ahmanet; the heir to the throne of Egypt. Destined to be queen, Ahmanet's quest for power led her on a murderous rampage when she was alive, and her punishment saw her sealed in her sarcophagus and buried alive. The power has remained, and the discovery has released a dark force that nearly kills them all as they attempt to fly the sarcophagus back to London. Somehow, Nick manages to survive an horrific plane crash completely unscathed, with the spirit of Ahmanet using him to regain her power back. She won't stop until she has seized control on the world that slipped through her grasp all those centuries ago, and London is the first target.
A re-boot of the original 1932 horror (which previously spawned the 1999 trilogy of the same name and the Dwayne Johnson spin-off 'The Scorpion King'), 'The Mummy' is a brand new story based on Egyptian myth. It has been directed by Alex Kurtzman ('People Like Us') and written by Jon Spaihts ('Passengers', 'Doctor Strange', 'Prometheus') and the Academy Award winning Christopher McQuarrie ('The Usual Suspects', 'Jack Reacher', 'Edge of Tomorrow'). The new trailer features a part instrumental of The Rolling Stones hit 'Paint it Black'. 'The Mummy' is set to be released on June 9th 2017.
There are also a number of excellent featurettes to watch. The Zero gravity shoot is particularly fascinating to learn about. To replicate zero gravity, a specially equipped plane must fly to a great height and then basically go into a freefall for 22 seconds - as the time frame is so short, they had to reset the shots over forty times.
Whether you were born in the 70's, 80's, 90's or 00's the story of Pennywise the clown is one that's frightened many a child. Stephen King's 1986 book is behind hundreds of sleepless nights and a created a permanent fear of clowns in some of its readers.
Bill and George Denbrough are young brothers who live with their family in the quiet down of Derry, Maine; though the town is quiet there's a strange phenomenon surrounding it and its residents, six times the national average of grown adults go missing and that doesn't even include the missing children which are far higher.
One stormy day Bill makes his younger brother a paper sailboat which George is all too eager to go and try out in the rain. Donning his yellow raincoat, George goes out into the storm and loyally follows his boat. What happens to the boy next sets in motion a whole series of events that end in tragedy and add to the town's missing person total.

The tombs and burial chambers in Egypt have long provided fascinated discoveries and lead the world to understand incredibly important facts about ancient times. Down the generations, it's been said that the ancient Egyptian gods, deities and earthly pharaohs had powers beyond those of a normal human.
Thousands of years after the gods walked the earth, we're still as interested in the secrets the ancients held.
There are few details available about the precise plot of the new movie but here's what we do know. When a new tomb is found, work begins to excavate the structure and catalogue its contents. When a mummy's tomb is uncovered, the archaeologists can't believe their luck, wishing to protect and preserve the tomb, the army are called in and asked to transport the structure to London but whilst the freighter is in the air, the team on board find themselves - and the plane - being attacked by a vast swathe of flying creatures.

Hugh Glass is a skilled hunter, experienced in trapping some of the most predatory of beasts in the American West in order to claim their fur. However, it all goes wrong one day when he and his three friends and companions John Fitzgerald, Andrew Henry and Jim Bridger are travelling some untouched territory. They are confronted by a bear who wastes no time in viciously attacking Glass, leaving the other three men to flee without a second glance. Unfortunately for them, Glass is not dead after his mauling, and he's not happy about being left for dead by the people he's supposed to be able to trust. Determined to survive on his own even as a particularly bitter winter sets in, he just wants to find the cowards that betrayed him and take revenge.

In the 19th Century in Cumbria, England, an old house stood overlooking a tremendous stretch of land. That house was Crimson Peak, inhabited by Sir Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston) and his sister, Lady Lucille Sharpe (Jessica Chastain). When author Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska) marries the handsome and quite Thomas Sharpe, she moves to Crimson Peak to live with the siblings. However, upon arrival, strange thing begin to occur. Mysterious visions and terrifying objects begin to emerge, showing that the house is not as it appears. As Cushing struggles to get to the bottom of the house's dark history, the secrets of the family steadily begin to unveil themselves to her.

Expanded from a sharp 3-minute short, this horror mystery is packed with clever jolts and witty freak-out moments. Argentine filmmaker Muschietti creates such an oppressively intense atmosphere that we only barely notice how thin and underdeveloped the script is. But when we're not cringing from the eerie imagery, it's difficult not to see the contrivances and conveniences that fill the plot.
Orphans Victoria and Lilly (Charpentier and Nelisse) have survived in a woodland cabin for five years, and when they're discovered they are understandably animalistic. But their Uncle Lucas (Coster-Waldau) takes them in, fending off a custody battle with an aunt (Moffat) to raise his nieces with his rock-chick girlfriend Annabel (Chastain). Then Lucas is hospitalised after a strange nighttime incident, and Annabel is left alone in the house with these still-feral girls. Their strange behaviour makes Annabel suspect that they weren't alone in that cabin, and may have brought a jealous maternalistic ghost with them. So the consulting psychologist (Kash) starts to investigate the cabin's history.
Oddly, despite the fact that Chastain's personal odyssey is at the centre of the film, most of the narrative comes from the psychologist's procedural investigation into the identity of the woman the girls are calling "Mama". This involves implausible luck as he discovers ludicrously detailed records in dusty archives and then helpfully leaves his documents lying around so the right person can find them. Meanwhile, Coster-Waldau is needlessly marginalised in a corny plot turn early on. And it doesn't help that we never quite accept Chastain as a goth rocker, even though she gives it her best shot.

The film starts with a cheesy wedding video showing the romance and marriage of Clara and Koldo (Dolera and Martin), leading up to the reception in a beautiful garden hotel. Then guests start feeling queasy, infected by the gruesome virus of the previous films, which turns them into snarling, flesh-eating monsters.
And all hell breaks loose. From here, filmmaker Plaza abandons the found-footage genre, shooting things as a more standard horror romp as Clara and Koldo are separated and must try to find each other amid the carnage.
