Jay-Z and Beyoncé took their daughter Blue Ivy to visit the White House over the weekend.

The 'Crazy In Love' singer - who was performing at Michelle Obama's 50th birthday bash on Saturday(18.01.14) - took her baby daughter along to introduce her to the president and his family.

Beyoncé clearly enjoyed the family outing, staying until around 2am and posting a number of photos from the occasion on her Tumblr page - although guests were reportedly told not to post pictures from the event on social media sites.

The cute snaps include a shot of her family walking up to the White House, while another shows Beyoncé and Blue Ivy cosying up to the Obama's pet dog Sunny.

The 32-year-old singer then parted with her beloved daughter to perform for the First Lady and her guests which are said to have included Sir Paul McCartney, Jennifer Hudson, Bill and Hillary Clinton and Facebook's Sheryl Sandberg

The lucky party-goers arrived at about 8.30pm in the East Wing of the White House and enjoyed cocktails before moving onto the green, blue and red rooms, as well as the State Dining Room.

The occasion also featured performances by American singer Ledisi, DJ Cassidy and Stevie Wonder who sang 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)', and John Legend who performed 'Happy Birthday' for the First Lady.

Michelle was later presented with a birthday cake by her husband Barac to mark the special occasion.

Beyoncé and Jay Z were spotted re-fuelling after a busy evening at Frankies Spuntino Italian restaurant in Manhattan the following day.
