Jay Z and Beyonce – these names have been inescapable over the past five years and with such media power, not to mention a combined net worth of over $800 million (according to celebritynetworth.com) nobody would be surprised to learn that the power couple have topped Forbes’ list of the highest earning celebrity couples.

Shocked at this couple's earnings? They're not.

The list doesn’t just go on pure monetary value – it takes into account the couples’ earnings between June 2012 and 2013, $93 million in Mr and Mrs Carters’ case, as well as their most recent creative/business endeavors. In this case, that would be the extremely successful Mrs. Carter tour, grossing over $2 million a night for Beyonce as well as Jay Z’s most recent album Magna Carta Holy Grail, which nabbed the rapper/producer $5 million in guaranteed earnings for the album.

Then there’s his Barclays Center stake, which the actor might soon dump in favor of his own sports agency: Roc Nation Sports, which represents star athletes like Kevin Durant and Victor Cruz. While Jay Z is into sports, Beyonce has, in a rather gender specific turn of events, the clothing line House of Dereon, as well as her own fragrance collection.

With many joint ventures and separate creative endeavors, these two are the epitome of a power couple.

According to Forbes, Bey and Jay earned $15 million more than the No. 2 couple on our list: Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen. We wouldn’t have pegged those two as the runners-up, but the website reports that they have, in fact, made a combined $80 million between June 2012 and June 2013. Not too shabby, although not even close to catching up with the Carters. Well, under these circumstances, it’s clear who the current occupants of the throne are (not that we needed another reminder, of course).

Even after Blue Ivy, Beyonce hasn't missed a beat.
