The 99 Problems hitmaker hosted a free concert for subscribers to his music streaming service and during the show on Saturday (16May15), the 45 year old performed a freestyle rap, in which he confronted the criticism surrounding his new pay-to-play initiative and called out bosses at the competition sites.

Taking shots at late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and Nike co-founder Phil Knight, he continued, "Tidal, my own label, same difference/Oh, n**gas is sceptical when it's their own s**t/You bought nine iPhones and Steve Jobs is rich/Phil Knight is worth millions, you still bought them kicks/ Spotify is nine million, they ain't say s**t."
Jay Z also thrilled fans when he reunited with longtime friend and collaborator Memphis Bleek and former label mates Young Gunz, Freeway, and Beanie Sigel on the stage.
