Action hero Jean-Claude Van Damme has been honoured with a bronze statue in his native Belgium.
The Bloodsport star was joined by his mum Eliana and dad Eugene as he unveiled the monument for hundreds of fans at a special ceremony in Brussels on Sunday (21Oct12).
Van Damme insists he's thrilled with the life-size statue, which depicts the hardman in a fighting pose.
He told reporters, "Belgium is paying me back something, but really it's to pay back to the dream. So when people come by here, it is Jean-Claude Van Damme but it's a guy from the street who believed in something. I want the statue to represent that."
