The Watchmen star Jeffrey Dean Morgan is engaged to wed his actress girlfriend Hilarie Burton, according to a new report.
The private couple began dating in 2009 and welcomed its first child, son Gus, in March, 2010 - although they managed to keep the baby news secret for over two months and only opened up about the tot's birth in November (11).
Now America's Star magazine reports Morgan has proposed to Burton, who was spotted wearing a diamond sparkler on her ring finger while attending the Film Independent Spirit Awards last month (25Feb12).
A source tells the publication, "They are engaged."
Representatives for the pair have yet to comment on the reports.
If the rumours are true, it will be Morgan's first marriage. Burton split from her first husband, One Tree Hill assistant director Ian Prange, in 2008.
