Congratulations are in order for actress Jena Malone and her partner Ethan DeLorenzo who have just welcomed a gorgeous baby boy into the world. Malone shared an intimate snap of her family yesterday (May 31st 2016), and debuted the baby's unusual but frankly adorable name.

Over the weekend, 31-year-old 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' actress Jena Malone gave birth to her first child having announced that she was pregnant back in January. He is also the first child of her boyfriend Ethan DeLorenzo, a photographer and musician.

The pair shared a photo of themselves with their son in an Instagram post, where they revealed the child's name: Ode Mountain DeLorenzo Malone. 'The best weekend of our lives!!!' She captioned the post. 'What an incredible blessing to be chosen by this amazing, kind, gentle and beautiful soul to be his parents. Humbled and in complete awe that we get to experience the most ancient and transcendent love that exists.'

DeLorenzo also unveiled his own ode to Ode with a short video featuring black and white clips of the new parents cuddling their first child, with a song from children's entertainers The Little Waves Band playing in the background; a band with whom he has worked as a producer.

It's going to be a busy time for Malone now, as not only has she got a son to take care of, she's also got heaps of upcoming movies to promote. Horror thriller 'The Neon Demon' starring Elle Fanning is the next release, and she's currently working on Dori Oskowitz's rom-com 'Claire', another romance called 'A Moment to Remember' and Richard Sears mystery drama 'Bottom of the World'.

Malone's co-star from the 1998 movie 'Stepmom' Susan Sarandon has taken to Twitter to express her congratulations. 'Congrats to @MaloneJena & Ethan on the birth of their son. Can't think of a more thoughtful, love-filled home a little soul could find', she wrote.
