It’s been nearly 10 years since the marriage of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston ended, but some just don't seem able to put all that 'team Jen', 'team Angelina' drama behind them. But this week the internet was given a reason to try and reignite old fire’s once again, when both Aniston and Jolie appeared at the same awards ceremony.

Amazingly the two actress had not been in the same room together since the 2009 Oscars, and many were quick to try and make a cheap headline out of the occasion, with some claiming the two were kept on opposite sides of the ballroom.

But speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Aniston said she thought talk of their decade long reportedly rivalry was “slowly coming to an end.”

"It’s just tiresome and old," the actress said. Adding, ”It's like an old leather shoe. Let's buy a new pair of shiny shoes."

Aniston then even praised Jolie for her work directing Unbroken. "That movie is so beautiful and wonderful and she did such a gorgeous job. I think that it's time people stop with that petty B.S. and just start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness.”

Of course Jen’s ex Brad Pitt is now married to Jolie and Jennifer is happily engaged to actor Justin Theroux. But past and present relationships aside, right now Jennifer and Angelina do actually have something in common.

Both actresses found themselves ‘snubbed’ by the Academy on Thursday when this year’s Oscar nominations were revealed. Jolie missed out on a Best Director nod for Unbroken, while Aniston missed out on a Best Actress nomination for her role in Cake.

Speaking to the Huffington Post Aniston said, “I was amazed at how many messages of ‘Shocked!’ ‘Fuck ‘em!’ and ‘Robbed!’ I got.”

“I found it quite endearing and flattering that I had so many people rooting for me. It was almost just as good to be number one snubbed than to be nominated,” the actress added.
