'Sex and the City 3' is currently in the works, according to actress Jennifer Hudson.

The singer and actress appeared as Carrie Bradshaw's assistant Louise in the first film and during a recent appearance, explained that the wheels are already in motion to make another movie, following on from 2010's 'Sex and the City 2'.

Hudson, 33, explained: ''I think it might be [happening].

''Somebody just came to me talking about that. So, if it's in the talks, it might happen. So, look for it.''

Later, she added: ''Look [out] for Louise from St Louis!''

Earlier this year, Sarah Jessica Parker - who plays the role of Carrie - hinted another movie could be in the pipeline, saying there is ''one last chapter to tell''.

She said: ''Timing is a peculiar thing. It isn't a decision that can wait forever.''

Meanwhile, it was revealed last week that Jessica Parker is to play the female lead in new romantic-comedy 'All Roads Lead To Rome'.

The 49-year-old actress is to play the role of Maggie, who travels through Italy to find her teenage daughter, and Luca, her former lover.

Shooting on the new film will behind in Italy later this month, according to Deadline.
