Have you ever wondered what Jennifer Lawrence or Peter Dinklage would look like as cakes? Well now you don't have to as a British woman has created life-sized, and scarily realistic, cakes in their likeness.

Baker Lara Clarke was competing in the Cake International contest, held at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre on Friday (7th November). Clarke, who owns the Tasty Cakes Bakery, chose to create a cake based on Katniss, the heroine of the Hunger Games franchise. The cake stands at 5'10 feet (1.7metres) and is complete with bow and elaborate plait.

As her second entry Clarke created a cake inspired by Tyrion Lannister, Peter Dinklage's character in Game of Thrones. Cake Tyrion was clutching a goblet and had the Hand of the King pinned to his chest.

Both were highly detailed and incredibly impressive. As the BBC reports, Clarke put months of work into creating the cakes and certainly a lot of ingredients! The Katniss cake, sponge to be specific, needed 150 eggs, 10kg flour and 10kg butter.

The cakes have drawn attention from around the world owing to the popularity of their subject matter and Clarke, writing on her Facebook wall, has been keeping fans up to date with the media coverage. This certainly isn't the first time Clarke has attracted attention from the world's press as she previously created a Jack Sparrow cake in 2013, as the BBC reports.

Clarke certainly doesn't seem to be slowing down and explained how exciting her hobby can be. Speaking to Buzzfeed, Clarke said "I've had people asking me what I'm planning since January this year. I love the buzz though, it's the main reason I want to do stuff like this."

Clarke also wowed the judges at the competition as her Katniss cake was awarded Gold and her Tyrion cake awarded Silver!
