The pair recently enjoyed their first visit to the interactive experience in New York.
Everyone loves a good franchise fair and while 'The Hunger Games' fans will be sad to see the end of the movie trilogy in November, they will still get to enjoy an immersive experience with the new exhibition in New York this year.
Jennifer Lawrence says the 'exhibition' made her remember her bow injury
Even stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson were bowled over by the displays at Discovery Times Square, which brought back a lot of memories for the onscreen couple whose final movie, 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2', is set to hit movie theaters in November 2015.
'It was really emotional, I didn't expect that', says Lawrence. 'There's a lot of stuff I'd like to keep.' Among some of the items that left a deep impression were their chariot, the various district maps, and an interactive 'magic' book which both Lawrence and Hutcherson loved.

'We haven't been in 'The Hunger Games' for a little while now but even stepping back to the first movie, we saw all the sets and the photos', says Hutcherson. 'It was cool to see the inspiration stuff too; to know more about Suzanne Collin's [author] process and how she got to the story and everything.'
Josh Hutcherson enjoyed his trip down memory lane
He also described the exhibition as a 'walk down memory lane', as the pair of them were reminded strongly of specific moments on the set. 'There's the bow that I hit myself so hard in the chin with that I flew backwards', Lawrence recalls from shooting in Hawaii. 'I got snagged on some grass.' She also implored all visitors to pay special attention to the outfits worn by Elizabeth Banks for her role as the eccentric Effie Trinket - in particular the shoes, which Lawrence refers to as 'torture contraptions'. 'Just imagine putting your feet in every one of those shoes', she says.
More: Elizabeth Banks recently starred in 'Magic Mike XXL'
'The Hunger Games: The Exhibition' will run until January 3rd 2016.
