Furious 7 Still In Top Gear At The U.s. Box Office As It Revs Past $800 Million Globally

The blockbuster has now revved up over $250 million (GBP166.6) million in the U.S. since it's release on 3 April (15), while globally the film has passed the $800 million (GBP533 million) mark.

In America, Furious 7 has become the fastest Universal release to cross the $200 million (GBP133 million) mark.

The film leaves Home in a distant second for a second straight week - the animated movie, featuring the voices of Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez, picks up $19 million (GBP12.6 million) in its second weekend on release.
