The song, entitled ‘Oh No! (I’ll Never Fall In Love Again)’, was recorded during one of Selena’s rehearsals but was never recorded professionally.

Fans of the late singer were aware of the existence of the song as Selena had sung a section during a radio interview which was later posted online. Quintanilla explained how fans had been asking about the song for a number of years but he had only just unearthed it.

The recording of Selena singing had been used by her brother A.B. Quintanilla, and the Kumbia Kingsz, years later but had not been released previously owing to the sound quality.

"The reason we never released it as one of her songs, was because it's not up to par as far as sound is concerned," Quintanilla explained.

"We thought the fans would enjoy it even though it's not a professional recording," he later added.

Before her tragic death, Selena was on the verge of becoming a main stream artist. Sadly, in 1995, Selena was shot and killed by the president of her own fan club. She was 23 years old at the time of her death. Yolanda Saldivar was convicted of Selena’s murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Selena’s short life and career continues to make an impact on popular culture. Jennifer Lopez played Selena in the film of her life. Earlier this year, it was announced MAC are launching a line of cosmetics, on sale in 2016, in honour of Selena.
