Actress Jennifer Tilly has filed suit against the bosses of a Los Angeles jewellery store, alleging she was overcharged by more than $50,000 (£31,250) for a gold ring.
The Liar Liar star claims she bought a $15,000 (£9,375) band from the prestigious Maxfield accessories shop in April (11), but later discovered she had been billed $69,500 (£43,437), plus tax.
Tilly returned to the store to dispute the amount, but alleges the managers rejected her claims - and now she's taking legal action.
In court papers, Tilly has demanded store chiefs refund the full amount she paid for the ring, according to Tmz.com.
