Donnie, who is a former member of boy band New Kids On The Block, proposed to McCarthy this past April with a huge yellow sapphire engagement ring, which she revealed to the public and her colleagues on a broadcast of 'The View.'

"I just got engaged!" she said before explaining how her son, Evan, helped with the surprise proposal, in which he handed his mother three pieces of paper that said, "will," "you" and "marry." Wahlberg then walked out with "me?" written on his shirt, got down on one knee and popped the question, McCarthy recalled while choking up.

The groom then appeared on the set from backstage to surprise his new wife by kissing her passionately.

Donnie's movie star brother Mark Wahlberg didn't attend the ceremony, and according to TMZ, this is because the 'Transformation: Age of Extinction' actor and his wife are not big fans of the bride. However, the real reason for his absence was because he needed to be at a birthday party for his daughter Ella in L.A.

However, Mark did tweet, "Congratulations @DonnieWahlberg and @JennyMcCarthy, so happy for you both today."
