The Host star, son of veteran actor Jeremy Irons, moved to New York in 2013 to live with his girlfriend and pursue a Hollywood acting career, but he is now returning to London after he failed to bag many parts.

He tells the New York Observer, "Unfortunately, I think it's being made clear that for professional reasons, I need to move back to London. Which is upsetting, because every time I cross the bridge here, I'm filled with joy. But it turns out there are much, much fewer opportunities to be an actor (in theatre) here than back in London."
