Jess Glynne has joined forces with Beyoncé's producer Toby Gad on her forthcoming album.
The flame-haired singer songwriter's long-time collaborator, Janee Benett, has admitted she has already begun work on Jess' forthcoming LP with Gad, who collaborated with the 'Lemonade' hitmaker on her 2008 hit 'If I were a Boy'.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Benett said: ''We've started [Jess'] new album now. We've been working with some amazing producers and writers, including Toby Gad - who's done loads with Beyoncé - Skrillex and PARTYNEXTDOOR. I've been doing quite a few things with Jess for the second album.''

The talent competition may be switching channels, but Will.i.am isn't going anywhere.
‘The Voice’ coach Will.i.am has confirmed he’ll be staying on with the show when it moves to ITV next year. The Black Eyed Peas main man has been with the show since its first series in 2012 and has seen a revolving door of fellow music stars join him on the panel.
Will.i.am will be retuning to ‘The Voice’.
Will will also be a coach on spin-ff show ‘The Voice Kids’, which is aimed at 7 to 14 year olds. In a statement he said: “I’m delighted to be continuing ‘The Voice UK’ on ITV and being a voice of direction and guidance for the usual suspects, and I’m thrilled to add ‘The Voice Kids’ to the mix.”

Ed Sheeran has received his third Ivor Novello nomination.
Sheeran faces some stiff competition as he is up against protege Jamie Lawson who is nominated for single ‘Wasn’t Expecting That’ and Wolf Alice who received a nod for ‘Bros’. It’s Sheeran’s third Ivor Novello nomination after he was named Songwriter of the Year in 2015 and won Best Song Musically and Lyrically for ‘The A Team’ in 2012.

The ‘Rather Be’ singer says women ‘get judged more easily’ in the music business.
Singer Jess Glynne has spoken out about the challenges still faced by women in the music industry today. The 26-year-old told the Radio Times that there’s still a double standard when it comes to how men and women are perceived, with an outspoken woman being labelled a 'diva', while a man is thought of as 'tough'.
Jess Glynne says it’s still harder to be a woman in the music industry.
"As a woman I feel it's genuinely harder and I feel you need to stand for something otherwise you get lost,” Glynne said. "Women get judged more easily. A girl can make a fuss and she's a diva but a guy does the same and he's 'tough'. There's a complete double standard.”

The first official announcement for Live At Leeds 2016 is here...
One of the biggest UK music events of the North is returning in Spring 2016, accompanied by another spectacular line-up. Live At Leeds have just announced the first seven acts for the citywide festival which will mark their landmark 10 year anniversary.
They previously won 'Best Metropolitan Festival' and they are certainly still proving worthy of that title if recent announcements are anything to go by. The first acts of Live At Leeds are now confirmed for the multi-venue extravaganza on April 30th 2016, and organisers also reveal their Leeds Digital Festival; more information on which is yet to be announced.

Jess Glynne has held onto the top spot on the UK singles chart for a third week with single ‘Hold My Hand’. The single is the third chart topper to feature the 25 year old Londoner, but it’s her first solo track to reach the coveted number one spot.

Glynne’s strongest competition this week came from US singer Nick Jonas who’s single ‘Jealous’ landed at the number two spot. Years and Years rose one place to take the number three position with ‘King', while James Bay spent his sixth week in the top ten with ‘Hold Back The River’ in the number four spot.
