Jessica Alba hates working out and prefers dancing and running at home to keep her in shape
Jessica Alba hates working out.
The mother-of-two has revealed she can't stand the gym and much prefers dancing to really loud music to keep her trim figure toned.
The 31-year-old 'Little Fockers' star told the March issue of Women's Health magazine: ''I like doing dance classes. That's fun. Like hip hop class, mixed with like core Pilates-type exercises.
''And sometimes I do sprint intervals just because I hate working out. Anything where I have to do something but I can get my mind off of doing it, that's so much better for me than anything that's repetitive. Or the music has to be loud and I have to be moving.
''So when I'm at home and I'm working out and I don't have a partner with me, I like to put bad television on. Usually a pretty embarrassing reality TV show and I do sprint intervals. So I'll sprint for a minute and walk for 30 seconds and do that on and off for 20-30 minutes usually.''
The actress - who has two daughters, Honor, four, and 18-month-old Haven with her husband Cash Warren - previously admitted having children has made her less critical of herself.
She revealed: ''Becoming a mom has definitely made me feel more confident and secure than I ever did in my 20s. Even though I can't ever get down to my pre-baby weight before having Honor, my jeans don't zip up the same way, and things just hang differently (all moms know how that goes!), I feel completely comfortable in my skin and my idea of perfection has changed.
''I don't really care about my body image anymore because it just doesn't matter now that I have children. Instead, I focus on my health, feeling strong, and making sure I'm up and running so I can spend that all-important time with the girls.''
