Per People’s detailed recap of the wedding, Simpson wore a custom, detailed Carolina Herrera gown. The couple’s children took active part in the wedding with daughter Maxwell (2) walking down the aisle as a flower girl and their –year-old son Ace bearing the rings – with some help, of course.

"To say 'I do' in front of family, friends and, most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives,” Simpson and Johnson also said at the time. This is Simpson's second marriage, while Johnson is on his first. The pair met in 2010 and announced their engagement in November that same year, after a whirlwind romance. Since then, Simpson has put her music career on hold to be a full-time mother to their two children. Congratulations to the happy couple.
