Jessica Simpson's children have been offered modelling contracts.

The 34-year-old singer is reportedly excited about putting her daughter Maxwell, two, and son Ace, 16 months, in front of the camera after they received an offer to front a campaign for Gap Kids.

A source told OK! magazine: ''They received an offer from Gap Kids. They're gorgeous and clearly very photogenic.''

However, the blonde beauty's husband, Eric Johnson, wants their children to have a normal childhood and is hesitant for them to accept the offer.

The insider said: ''Eric usually just goes along with whatever Jessica wants, but he thinks it's important that the kids have as normal a childhood as they can, since Jess is so famous.''

The 'With U' hitmaker, who was previously married to Nick Lachey, recently admitted she isn't planning to have any more children.

She said: ''I don't think so. Having two kids back-to-back was hard on my body. But if I do have more, I wouldn't want them to read this and think they weren't wanted!''

But she also previously confessed motherhood is the best thing she has ever experienced.

She said: ''Motherhood is the best thing I've ever experienced - and the most challenging.''
