Jessica Simpson certainly isn't wasting any time in donning the workout gear and beginning her post-pregnancy weight-loss plan. The singer gave birth to her first child, Maxwell Drew on May 1, 2012, and is already well into her program to shed the pounds, reports People magazine.
Just last week, Simpson tweeted, "Just taking a walk around the block", before posting a photo of herself pushing baby Maxwell down the street whilst wearing a rather revealing black workout top. Simpson has certainly taken to being a full time-mother, previously saying, "Nursing is a full-on job.Sometimes I worry she's not getting enough, but it's been an amazing experience. It's the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her. I miss holding her and having that closeness". The singer has been working with Weight Watchers to get back in shape, though claims she doesn't have any unrealistic goals for her post-baby boy, saying, "It would be nice to feel comfortable in a bikini, but that's not my goal.I just want to fit into jeans!".
According to the UK's Daily Mail, Simpson will rake in around $4 million from Weight Watchers for reaching her target of 130lbs - that would see her lose 50lbs in just five months. She has been spotted working out several times a week at Harley Pasternak's gym in West Hollywood, where she has private workout sessions.
