Jessica Simpson's manager/father is facing a lawsuit over alleged unpaid fees.
Joe Simpson's music label Papa Joe Records has been named in a suit filed by the bosses of video production company Frank the Plumber LLC.
They claim they were hired to produce a music video for Simpson's up-and-coming artist An-Ya - but were only partially paid for their services.
In legal papers filed on Friday (22Jan10), the video firm executives claim Simpson still owes them over $70,000 (£43,000).
Plumber bosses are refusing to hand over the video until Simpson pays the cash plus interest and attorneys' fees, reports TMZ.com.
