'The Big Bang Theory' also starred Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco.

Personal life: Jim Parsons was raised near in Houston, Texas and went to Klein Oak High School. He also graduated from the University of Houston during which time he appeared in several theatre shows before attending the University of San Diego. He later moved to New York and now lives in Los Angeles.
He is openly gay and in a long term relationship with Todd Spiewak.
