After the success of West End play Harry Potter And The Cursed Child and the forthcoming release of film Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Potter fans already have plenty to keep them going. But it looks as if there’s even more excitement to come, as three new titles by author Jk Rowling have appeared for pre-order on sites including Amazon.

Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists, Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies, and Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide have all appeared for pre-order on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and Apple's US iBook store.

The three titles have not been confirmed by Rowling herself or her publishers, but they look to be short stories presented as eBooks. In the description for the books on Amazon it says they are part of a series by Rowling called ‘Pottermore Presents’.

‘Pottermore Presents is a collection of J.K. Rowling’s writing: short reads originally featured on pottermore.com with some exclusive new additions,’ the description reads. ‘These eBooks, with writing curated by Pottermore, will take you beyond the Harry Potter stories as J.K. Rowling reveals her inspiration, intricate details of characters’ lives and surprises from the wizarding world.’

The first book Power, Politics And Pesky Poltergeists promises to give readers ‘a glimpse into the darker side of the wizarding world’ and reveal the ruthless roots of Professor Umbridge, the lowdown on the Ministers for Magic and the history of the wizarding prison Azkaban.

The second in the series, Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies, profiles two of Harry Potter's 'most courageous and iconic characters: Minerva McGonagall and Remus Lupin.’

The third, Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide, will take readers on a journey inside the famous school of witchcraft and wizardry. Readers will ‘venture into the Hogwarts grounds, become better acquainted with its more permanent residents, learn more about lessons and discover secrets of the castle ‘.

The books are all listed as retailing for £1.99 and should be available for download from September 6th.
