Fans finally get a preview of 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' with the cast in full costume, and it's safe to say that everyone is pleasantly surprised. Producers couldn't have found two actors that look more like Harry and Ginny Weasley if they tried.

JK RowlingJk Rowling is thrilled with 'Cursed Child' casting

'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' hits the West End next week with the play previews from June 7th, and while the actress playing Hermione Granger - the fabulous Noma Dumezweni - got a ridiculous amount of hate for having different colour skin to Emma Watson, people are taking to Jamie Parker (Harry Potter), Poppy Miller (Ginny Potter) and Sam Clemmett (Albus Severus Potter) much better.

While they've taken a new direction for Hermione, it's pretty shocking how similar Miller looks to Bonnie Wright from the 'Harry Potter' movies in the new images released by Pottermore; the same straight red hair, the same meek smile, the same bright and penetrating eyes. They both even have slightly dimpled cheeks. As for Parker and Daniel Radcliffe, maybe it's just the scar, glasses and scruffy black hair that's convinving us, but there appears to be similarities with their dark undereyes, thin mouth and face shape too.

'He simply is Harry now', Rowling said on the site. 'There's a kind of relief in watching him, he gets it so right.' She also expressed her fondness for Miller, describing her as 'kind and cool, exactly as I imagined her'.

Of course, fans are less invested in Arthur Bowen who had a cameo as Albus Severus Potter at the end of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2', so the fact Clemmett doesn't look anything like him isn't a big deal - but what's with the new Hogwarts robes?!

The play has been co-written by JK Rowling with Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. It also stars Paul Thornley as Ron Weasley and will be presented on stage in two parts; the first as a matinee and the second as an evening performance.

Previews for 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' begin on June 7th 2016 at London's Palace Theatre.
