Jk Rowling made an enemy of Piers Morgan over the weekend, after she shared a clip of Australian comedian Jim Jefferies telling him to “f**k off” on live TV.

What followed was a back and forth Twitter war between the two, during which Rowling displayed her usual 140 characters brilliance and Morgan’s son made an awkward revalation.

It all began when Rowling shared the clip of Morgan on 'Real Time with Bill Maher', during which Jeffries told him to “f**ck off”, after he refused to call President Donald Trump's travel ruling a Muslim ban.

Sharing the video Rowling wrote: “Yes, watching Piers Morgan being told to f**k off on live TV is *exactly* as satisfying as I'd always imagined.”

Rowling’s comments caused Morgan to reply: “This is why I've never read a single word of Harry Potter.”

To which Rowling hit back: “Because you had a premonition that one day the author would roar with laughter at seeing you called out for your bulls**t on live TV?”

The author then told the ‘Good Morning Britain’ host: “If only you'd read Harry Potter, you'd know the downside of sucking up to the biggest bully in school is getting burned alive.”

But in the middle of the exchange Morgan’s son Spencer made an awkward revelation, by sharing a photo of his Harry Potter inspired tattoo.

Spencer has the Deathly Hallows symbol tattoo on his inner arm and also owns a matching necklace. The younger Morgan captioned the pic: “Well this is awkward”.

Rowling’s final words to Morgan came when she shared a screencap of an article about her book Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince beating Morgan’s autobiography to be named book of the year at the British Book Awards in 2006. Rowling simply captioned the pic, ‘#StillHurts'.
